Activities on Exmoor

Whilst you stay with us there are a wide range of activities that you can enjoy on Exmoor.

RIDING - click for details Exmoor has some of the best and most dramatic riding country in England. There is riding suited to the absolute beginner and the more experienced looking for a challenge.

FISHING - click for details You can enjoy fly fishing for Trout and Salmon on local rivers. From Minehead and Porlock you can take a boat trip for Sea Fishing or you can fish from the shore. Course fishing can be arranged. You can take lessons in the art of fishing with a local Ghillie.

SAILING - on Wimbleball Reservoir.

FALCONRY - click for details this unusual activity can be seen at Bossington Bird Park, near Porlock.

WALKING- One of our Visitors, who organises walks all over England said that Exmoor was his favourite areas for walking due to the enormous variety of scenery - moorland, farmland, deep wooded valleys and the beautiful coastline. This activity can be enjoyed starting at our front gate. We provide capsulated maps with six circular walks starting and finishing at our Campsite.
